The adJile™ Resource Kit is a collection of tools and utilities developed by Aston Dane to facilitate the development of systems.  Appropriate tools ease common tasks such as database construction and maintenance and access to database data.  Major changes to the database that would be prohibitively expensive without these tools can be accomplished with relative ease.

Other tasks handled by Resource Kit tools include: 

• Control of the scan system.
• Software version checking.
• Mimic version checking and update.  In a large system it is easy for the versions of mimics on the workstations to become out of date as the system evolves.  The configuration control tool allows any number of workstations to be checked and updated easily without impact on the operation of the system.
• Remote system control.  Systems and application software can be shutdown or restarted for maintenance purposes without the need for local access or specialised remote access software.
• A comprehensive Application Programmer Interface (API) allows new tools to be developed quickly and easily.
